Oh, hallo

I’m Alex! Originally from the Detroit area, I earned my MFA in Acting from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory and my BFA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University. My career has taken me from Chicago’s theatre scene to Florida’s stages and now to New York City! Some of my favorite credits include the world premiere of Westminster (Urbanite Theatre’s Modern Works Festival Winner 2023), America in One Room (Florida Studio Theatre), Fountain, Murder on the Orient Express, and Romeo and Juliet (Asolo Rep). I was also part of the original cast of the Lynne Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty musical Knoxville at Asolo Rep—though COVID had other plans.

Beyond acting, I have a background in competitive public speaking (yes, that’s a thing!), and I’ve placed nationally with the National Forensics Association in Duo Interpretation and Prose. I love pieces that challenge me to transform completely—some of my favorites have been Night Sky by Susan Yankowitz, Assisted Living by Elliot Greenebaum, and Incendiary by Chris Cleave.

These days, alongside performing, I coach executives around the world through Cornell University’s professional certification program, helping people feel more confident and clear in how they communicate. Whether I’m acting, teaching, or coaching, my goal is always the same: to show up with authenticity, passion, and a real connection to the people in front of me.
